Venue Policies

Rental Times and Pricing

All rental time periods include vendor set-up and clean up time. Be sure to allow adequate time for set up and clean-up within that time frame. If you would like more time, additional hours can be added as time allows at a rate of $100.00 per hour, prepaid, or $125.00 per hour the day of the event. Consult your event coordinator for more information.

The rental includes the following:

  1. Use of Haven Flower Farm, the Small Cottage (makes a great Bride Room),1 restroom.

  2. Free parking in the lot on the farm, as well as parallel parking across the street to the east. Please do not block any driveways.

  3. Six or twelve hour rental time with option to purchase overtime.

  4. Cleaning and disposal of event waste. (Additional clean-up fees may apply due to unusual circumstances.)

  5. An onsite representative for the duration of your event.

  6. Haven Flower Farm capacity is 100. (Must include all staff.)

  7. One hour of rehearsal time during the week prior to your event. (Space availability/first-come first-served basis). Reservation required.


Bar Tending and Alcohol Services:

You can talk with your caterer about providing bar service or hire an independently licensed & insured bartender. If you hire an independent bartender, we require their credentials ahead of time and a valid Washington State Banquet Permit. All alcohol must be provided by the applicant.


Other guidelines for alcohol during your event:

  1. Client assumes all liability for the service of alcohol.

  2. Self-service of alcohol is not permitted.

  3. Alcohol must be provided and served by a licensed bartender. Hard liquor is not permitted.

  4. Alcohol service may only begin after the ceremony.

  5. Alcohol service is limited to four (4) consecutive hours.

  6. Underage drinking is not permitted.

  7. Alcohol may be served only in areas designated by Haven Flower Farm.

  8. Alcohol service must end 30 minutes prior to the end of your event.

  9. Alcohol service and music for all events must conclude at 9:30pm regardless of prepaid overtime.

  10. Haven Flower Farm reserves the right to end alcohol service and/or the event at any time, for any reason, if our staff feels that behavior and/or alcohol consumption is getting out of control or dangerous.


House Rules

  1. Renter is not responsible for cleaning the floors with the exception of food spills, for which you and your caterer are responsible, or cleaning the restrooms.

  2. Report all spills or breakage to the venue manager immediately so that proper clean-up measures can be take.

  3. All music must be kept to appropriate levels.

  4. Dance bands or DJs must stop one hour before the end of your rental period to allow for the clean-up hour. Music for all events must conclude at 9:30pm regardless of prepaid overtime.

  5. Unfortunately throwing rice or other substances at the bride and groom, though traditional, represents an environmental hazard. Please use bubbles or biodegradable material only. Absolutely no glitter, sequins, or the like.

  6. Children are welcome at Haven Flower Farm. However, it is your responsibility to see that they are supervised.

  7. Smoking is not allowed anywhere on Haven Flower Farm.

  8. Everything must be removed from the space the same day unless other arrangements have been made prior.

  9. The event must officially end at 10pm. Any overtime for tear down past 10pm is billed at $200/hour.


Florist Needs

Haven Flower Farm has the exclusive right to provide flowers for your event at Haven Flower Farm. You may select a DIY option or have Haven design and fulfil your flower needs. No other flower venues are allowed without the written permission of Haven.
