WHAT IS THE TIMELINE FOR BOOKING WITH HAVEN?
Timeline & Payment
1. Terms, conditions, and prices are valid for 2 weeks after the initial consultation. It is recommended that the deposit be made during these 2 weeks to ensure Haven's availability. Price guarantee: 2 weeks.
2. Deposit payment options: cash, check, Venmo (PayPal surcharge only applies to payments made through PayPal).
3. Once the deposit is received, you are BOOKED with Haven.
4. Six weeks prior to your wedding I will contact you to set up your final consultation. We will finalize all numbers, designs, delivery, etc.
5. Final payment is due 4 weeks prior to wedding.
6. All floral arrangements will be ready for pick-up or will be delivered at the agreed upon time and date.
HOW IS HAVEN FLOWER FARM DIFFERENT FROM OTHER FLORISTS?
We are a local flower farm, located in Kennewick, Washington. We will source the majority of your wedding flowers from our farm, providing beautiful in-season blooms. Given enough time, we can even grow flowers specifically for you! We also have great relationships with other flower sources, and can accommodate all your flower needs, year-round.
HOW DO I "BOOK" HAVEN FOR MY BRIDAL FLOWERS?
~Submit our "Pre-Consultation form"
~ Have your budget range in mind. We know it's hard to trust someone you've barely met, and the wedding industry is known for it's high prices. But here's where you get the expertise of a flower-farmer/florist. The more we know about your vision, the more we can help.
~ Schedule a 15+ minute phone chat. I never want to waste you or your fiancé's time. And since I love talking about weddings, we'll jump right into it! I am very organized and will walk you through the whole process with ease. And it'll be fun along the way!
~ Please send me pictures and give as many details as you can. The most important being your dream bridal bouquet. Everything in your wedding flower design should stem from your bouquet. I create a vision board for your wedding, from which I work. A picture speaks a thousand words, after all!
~ Usually within 24 hours I'll send you the proposal through PayPal, and it will need a thorough going-over. Make sure it represents your vision, budget, and what we've talked about. Feel free to request changes!
~ When you're ready, you'll be able to make your deposit (50% non-refundable) directly from this form. Or, preferably, Venmo, cash or check are accepted. I can send you a Venmo link upon request.
WHAT IF I HAVE CHANGES?
Changes are expected and are usually no problem. After we send out the initial flower proposal, we encourage you to finalize any changes within 2 weeks. However, you don't have to have all the answers. We're looking for "big picture" ideas, here.
At your final consultation (4-6 weeks. before your wedding), we'll revisit everything, and make any final changes needed. The final invoice (due 4 weeks before your wedding) will reflect any/all changes.
We do not have "change order" charges, but changes can affect the bottom line.
CAN I GET THE EXACT FLOWERS IN MY FAVORITE LOOK?
Yes, we can get the exact flowers you're searching for. Remember, out-of-season flowers are more costly than those that are in-season.
We will do everything we can to create your dream, including growing the flowers here on the farm if we have enough time.
DO YOU DELIVER?
Yes. Our set up and delivery fee is relative to distance and amount of set up time required.
DIY: WHAT ARE YOUR DIY OPTIONS?
~ Full DIY: So, your great Aunt Tessie wants to do your flowers? We can help you come up with the perfect plan, with flowers, fillers, and foliage from the farm. Just fill out the "Pre-Consultation" page to get started. We sell filler flower & foliage buckets at $65/ 50 stems, during the growing season.
~ Custom DIY Combo: Some brides want to do a portion of their wedding flowers, but not all. We can help you make a plan, and provide all the flowers, filler, and foliage, as well as making any arrangements or bouquets you may not want to take on.
VASES
~ We have a vase rental program that is very affordable. We offer a variety of vases that may be exactly what you're looking for. Bonus: once they've been returned to the farm, you don't have 20-30 vases laying around the house!
~ Can we use our own vases? Yes, absolutely. Please be sure to bring your (clean) vases to us at least 2 weeks before the event. (It would be even better to have them at the final consultation.) Measurements of your vessels will be used to give you an estimate of the cost of your centerpieces and arrangements, so it's best to know as early as possible what you'll be using.
CAN HAVEN FLOWER FARM SPECIAL ORDER RARE OR EXOTIC FLOWERS?
Yes, we have a great relationship with wholesale sources and can get those beautiful white orchids, or pink protea. No problem!
DOES HAVEN FLOWER FARM DELIVER NATIONALLY?
No, not at this time.
